We will also travel to give you lessons at your home or facility (additional fees will be added for travel). All lessons are private at $50/hour. English Riding Lessons An hour lesson for young beginner riders includes grooming and tacking, riding basics, mounted games, and/or a ranch trail walk where they learn about horses. As riders progress, they will develop the riding skills necessary to confidently handle any horse in any situation. They will also have opportunities to learn the more specialized riding skills of jumping and dressage. Riders are encouraged to take lessons at least once a week to maintain muscle strength and for optimal learning. Horses and equipment are provided. Riders must wear sturdy closed toed shoes with a heel. |

Dressage is not just for show. It improves the attitude, gaits, and physique of a horse. During an hour lesson with Bonnie, riders learn to utilize an understanding of horse and rider bio mechanics and the psychology of learning while pursuing lightness and self carriage.

Bareback Lunge Lessons
Riders can concentrate on perfecting their riding seat and feel by riding bareback (pads and a surcingle) while being lunged. Riders have fun, gain balance, confidence, and an independent and secure seat by practicing special exercises on the horse. Riding bareback allows the rider to focus on the movement of the horse and experience a sense of unity and harmony. These lessons include hands on horse care and are suitable for all ages (5+) and all levels of experience.
